I know I promised you my feedback immediately after the trip, but work got in the way. So here it goes: we really enjoyed the trip, all was well-organized and everything went smoothly.

The private flat in Musandam was better than the hotel, where we would have been hemmed in on all sides. This way we were in the "middle of the action."

There was a minor accident, with the car breaking down shortly after Muscat. We had to wait 4 hours for a new car (the rental agency went to great lengths to help) and thus I was able to drive on to Wadi Bani Awf but only in the dark (the following day I drove back into the wadi as far as Hatt).

On balance, we brought back only positive impressions of Oman and thank you again quite heartedly for the perfect preparations.
